Peter has lived and worked in the UAE for 20 years and has a PhD in Middle Eastern culture and education. He has been a University Chair and Director of Student Affairs and Academic Programs at both private and public tertiary level colleges and universities of higher education in the UAE.
With many years of training and facilitation experience in the region, he is uniquely qualified to deliver workshops in Emiratization and soft-skills including Emotional Intelligence and cultural change in both the educational and corporate world.
Immediate past and current clients include HSBC, Abu Dhabi Police, KPMG, Dubai Drydocks, DUBAL, and Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management.
Apart from Peter’s academic qualifications, he holds training certificates in Instructional Skills Workshops (trainer and facilitator) in addition to Teaching the English Language to Adults (RSA-CELTA).
He is a sensitive and effective facilitator, attuned to cultural differences found in diverse cultural backgrounds and corporate organizations.
Peter has a strong interest in social responsibility and is a Trustee of the UK-based charity, Children of the Mountain, which builds and funds schools and kindergartens as well as trains local teachers in Nepal.
Outside of work, he plays trumpet and piano as well as enjoying regular attendance at his local gym.

Tim works between Australasia where he works with organisations to develop, communicate and execute technology, information and organisational management strategies and the Middle East, where he has worked and lived for 15 years. Tim has a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) giving him a strong technical, analytical and communications grounding for his work.
With 5 years working with high performing technology and strategy teams in the post-earthquake environment of Christchurch, New Zealand, Tim has helped lead agile teams delivering systems, tools and processes that support over $10 Billion in insurance claims and reconstruction work. His background in understanding the ingredients for success under pressure and the value culture plays in individual and organizational successes is what makes Tim an important part of the Emarise team.
